This summer, we continued our support for The Bitcoin Classic in partnership with Block. Cash App sponsored the first-ever basketball tournament where champions were rewarded in bitcoin. The event featured giveaways, music performances by local Atlanta artists, a 3-point contest, youth face-painting, and introductory financial education on bitcoin. Cash App's Twitter post reached 2.1 million people, with 92% being new to our giveaways. Klay Thompson also promoted TBC on social media, encouraging fans to attend. Our focus on accessibility and inclusion allowed us to connect with customers where they are, showcasing the potential of bitcoin and the importance of financial inclusion.
By supporting this tournament, Cash App returns to its roots and reaffirms its mission to redefine the world's relationship with money. This initiative underscores our commitment to the local Atlanta community and our vision for the future of bitcoin.
